Frame4Frame is the first of its kind, musical and visual arts forum in Arlington, Texas dedicated to raising cultural awareness and appreciation for the diverse creative population that exists throughout this community. Check out the 4th Annual Frame4Frame Festival, kicking off this evening at 8:00 p.m.
Frame4Frame is committed to enlightening the public with a first-class, international program, through the contribution of art, film, and music. Participants are motivated to greater civic responsibility and making positive contributions that build bridges for bettering relationships between diverse cultures. This positive cultural arts experience will unite communities throughout the Arlington area.
Frame4Frame Festival screens a diverse collection of films from both studios and independent filmmakers highlight local and national artists and features well-known musical artists and emerging acts. Finally, the festival showcases world-class exhibits at the Arlington Museum of Art. Additionally, networking events are held for film enthusiasts, musicians, and artists.
This year’s festival will kick-off with a free concert and with music continuing throughout the weekend at the primary stage in J. Gilligan’s Bar. There will also be other music acts at various locations in the Arlington downtown area including the Arlington Museum of Art.
Visual arts will also be highlighted at the Arlington Museum of Art with two exhibits, one entitled “Jolly” which features Japanese themed sculptures by Marilyn Jolly. The other exhibit “Fung,” is Artic cartography by Adam Fung.
